The log buttons sit right on the home screen. There are no forms to fill in and no menus to dig through — tap a button and the entry is saved.

  • Feeding, sleep, diapers, solid food, pumping, bath, temperature, meds, notes
  • Sleep runs on a timer you start and stop
  • See at a glance how long since the last feed, sleep, or change
  • Today's timeline shows the whole day in order

FEATURE 02

One invite code, the whole family

Your partner, and grandma and grandpa across the country, join with a single code. Today's photos and today's log land right on their phones.

  • No need to repost the same photo into a group chat
  • The log is shared too — everyone knows who did the 3 a.m. feed
  • Invite codes expire automatically 7 days after they're created
  • Only invited family can see it — there is no public feed or discovery

APPROACH

Built around two things

The thing you do most often is note down what just happened. The screens are kept simple so that stays quick.

01

A couple of taps

Open the screen, tap the button, and the entry is saved. It works one-handed, at 3 a.m. too.

02

Your baby's day

The screen holds your baby's records and photos. It isn't filled with anything else.

03

No ads

The app ships with no ad SDK and no analytics or tracking SDK. Nothing is shown beyond your own records and photos.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Does it cost anything?

No. BabyStory is free, with no in-app purchases and no subscriptions. There are no ads either.

How do I invite family?

Create an invite code in Settings and send it to your partner or the grandparents. They enter the code in the app and can then see and add records and photos for the same baby. Invite codes expire automatically 7 days after they are created.

Where are my records and photos stored?

BabyStory runs on Google Firebase. Care records and photo files are stored in the asia-northeast3 (Seoul, South Korea) region; account authentication runs on Google's global authentication infrastructure. The details are in the Privacy Policy.

Who owns the photos and records I add?

You do. Your content is processed only to store it and show it to you and the family members you invited. It is not used for advertising or marketing, not used to train AI models, and not sold to third parties.

What happens when I delete my account?

You can delete your account from inside the app at any time. Once you request deletion, your account and the related personal data are deleted without undue delay and within 30 days at the latest, except where the law requires us to keep something. Retention details are in the Privacy Policy.

Can I use these records for medical decisions?

No. BabyStory is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The records and summaries are for your own reference. If you have any concern about your baby's health, please consult a qualified health professional.
